CHRISTMAS VOLUNTEERING

Make the most of the Christmas season by giving back to your community! Whether you’re ringing bells at red kettles, assisting with our Angel Tree program or serving holiday meals to the hungry, you’ll be making a difference in the lives of those in need. The Salvation Army is seeking Volunteers to help support the communities of Berkeley Jefferson and Morgon counties.

The Salvation Army relies on volunteers each day, whether it's serving a meal, packing food boxes, mentoring a community member, sorting through Christmas donations, or ringing the Red Kettle bell during the holiday season.

It’s people just like you who make our programs possible by choosing to give your time!

Volunteers play a huge part in The Army's daily operations. When you join our team of volunteers, you’re helping us build a community where lives are changed, and hope is found. Volunteers are one of our strongest resources in meeting the needs of a community.

In what ways can you volunteer:

Help with money/coin donations.
Work alongside staff during youth and teen programs.
Volunteer to assist during Programs/Fundraising.
Volunteer to complete grounds work as needed.
Volunteer to ring the bell during the holiday season!
Volunteer to assist with the Angel Tree Program
Volunteer to assist with Disaster Services
Volunteer to assist in office.
Volunteering in our food pantry.
Getting the word out in the community.
